Experienced builder starting a new chapter.
I've spent over a decade as a consulting CTO and lead engineer, and more recently as a technical founder. I'm now working on ways to free up human capacity by using AI for the tedious, practical work.

About
My story starts in Los Angeles, CA with two parents from different countries looking to give their kids opportunities they didn't have. As a kid I loved being outside as much as I loved being in my head dreaming up different designs and inventions. I always knew I would one day grow up to design and build things. I went to Stanford thinking I would do engineering, but ended up graduating with a degree in economics right as the world economy was collapsing. With a new degree in hand, I dedicated my nights to studying computer science.
My first real project was automating my job at a big company with Visual Basic scripts in Excel. After that I knew I wanted to be around new companies, designing and building. So that's what I did. I've been working around startups and young companies since 2011. Some were mine, and others were not.
Not all of my designs saw the light of day, but others were the core software for multi-million dollar companies.
Life has taken me to meetings with billionaires on the same day as having tortas in a crowded taqueria in Texas. I've learned from some of the brightest minds in data science and computer science. At the end of the day, I'm still the same kid dreaming of what to design and build next. Now I do it from Madrid, and I'm looking for good people to build with.
